From the United Nations to New York City to anti-meat reports to new plant-based competitors, attacks on meat’s sustainability have dramatically increased in recent years. Sustainability is a buzzword with many different definitions and this session will narrow down what exactly sustainability means to animal agriculture and meat producers and outline the many efforts engaging the supply chain. Attendees will learn how they can get engaged to help maintain trust in animal protein.
